I am writing these together since they'll be short.
You could possibly do both of these in the same day if you don't go to every attraction. MGM Studios is fun and we got through it in about 1/2 the day. The best part is the Muppet 3D. They also have a new roller coaster called Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith. Hubby and my dad loved it. I didn't go on it since I was concentrating on making my little girl happy. She loved the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Playhouse Disney. We went to the Indiana Jones Stunt Show (which I had seen before) and it was at least cool.
Animal Kingdom was really nice but a little spread out. We went on the safari first thing and our path got blocked by a very tall giraffe. He wouldn't move and we backed up everyone else as one of the park people tried to get the guy to move. Finally he did but he wasn't happy about it. Because of that, I felt the rest of the safari was pushed a little too fast.
I took my daughter to see the very lame but cute Pocohantas show and then the Festival of the Lion King. The Lion King show was excellent. Best show in Disney probably. The music was great. The dancing and gymnastics were fun. Very entertaining. Since I had gotten wind of a Pocohantas sighting, we ate lunch and went to where she was going to be (not publized either). I think Elena enjoyed her the best. I'll say this about the girls who play the princesses – they are great with the kids. They are patient, always smiling, and engage the kids in conversation rather than just standing there for a photo. Elena had a great convo with Pocohantas and I hope she'll remember it for a long time.
