I have a goal for halloween this year. I want to be a super hero. Obviously a female one. One of these would be great! (link). I’m partial to Wonder Woman. I have Wonder Woman undies that are HOT but can’t exactly wear those for my costume. I’m doing very good on losing my weight now and hope by October I’ll be in good enough shape to do her justice. I don’t know if I’ll be at the point of showing off the stomach – who knows if I’ll ever be able to do that again thanks to two c-sections, but, I hear it can be done. If you click on the link above, you’ll also see a cool Zoro one. Granted, Zoro was a man but I could be Zora…its pretty hot as well.

I may have jumped to conclusions on the competition, however, I don’t feel its out of the water yet.  I’m quite happy to have two back up dancers in Cheese and Jason.  How lucky can a girl get?  I’m sure I could whip them into shape fast though if I need to so I’ll keep them in my back pocket for now.  The good thing is that at least one person I know of is still planning to go and if he goes, everyone else will fall in line because they are lemmings.  Just like my partner at times.  And if no one else goes, I think I’ll still go because its on South Beach and really, I’d be stupid to not go to South Beach given the chance. Alone or not.

There is nothing worse, at least to me, than getting your heart set on something… a dream… and then getting ready to have it all come down and crash around you.  It hasn’t yet but I know it will.  I’m feeling it.  Everyone is going to cancel on the trip where I was going to go and compete in a salsa competition.  My dance partner is someone who likes to do what the group is doing. And guess what? If no one else is going, he’ll say “well, let’s just not do it”.  And I will be heart broken.  There is no one else to join the competition with me. Sure, there’s that small chance he’ll say “oh, let’s go and do it anyway” but I’m 90% sure he won’t.  Because I know him so well.  Too well unfortunately.  I’m sad today.

So we have a pool in our community. Today, it thundered and we had some lightening – maybe for 15 mins.  So about 30 mins passes and its sunny outside.  No sign of more storms coming for right now.  My daughter has been dying to go to the pool all day but Papi put her off since he HAD to watch a movie first.  I know how the lifeguards are (lazy asses which almost prompted me to write ‘lazasses’ for short) so I drove by the pool just to check it out. Nope.  The lifeguards had closed up shop and left.  It is <b>hot</b> today.  I wanted to go too.  We figured we had all afternoon.  Guess not.  There are 3 more hours the pool could be open but I guess the lifeguards wanted to work only part of the day.  I’ll say it again. Lazy Asses.
